Ingredients:

  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 Tablespoons coconut oil
  • 2 cups puffed rice cereal
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup of mixed nuts
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon of sea salt

Directions:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Whisk together egg whites and coconut oil.
  3. Mix in puffed rice cereal, rolled oats, mixed nuts, curry powder, cinnamon and sea salt.
  4. Mix altogether and spread on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes.
  6. This recipe can be used as a snack food or is great for a topping of fish, chicken, salad or any kind of casserole.

Baked Granola

Ingredients:

  • 1/4  cup oil
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 1/2  cup milk
  • 3/4 cup plain or vanilla yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound of Sheila’s Crunchy Delight (any flavor)

Directions:

  1. Mix wet ingredients in a 13 X 9 pan.
  2. Mix Sheila’s Crunchy Delight, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  3. Add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well in pan.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes at 375 degrees F.
  5. Serve warm or cooled. Great for breakfast or dessert!

Great Tasting Meat Loaf

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 1 medium grated carrot
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • 1 cup rolled oatmeal
  • ½ cup salsa or ½ cup Barbeque sauce

Directions:

  1. Preheat Oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix all ingredients together and form into loaf
  3. Place in well greased baking pan and top with salsa for added flavor
  4. Bake at 350 degrees F, for 45 minutes
  5. Great with Mac and cheese!

Chocolate Chip Granola Cookie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 ½ cup Chocolate Chip Sheila’s Crunchy Delight

Directions:

  1. Preheat Oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl.
  3. Beat together butter, sugars, and vanilla in a medium bowl with an electric mixer at high speed until pale and fluffy, about 3 minutes, then beat in egg until combined well.
  4. Reduce speed to low, then add flour mixture and mix until just combined.
  5. Stir in Crunchy Delight.
  6. Drop mounds of batter about 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes and cool on sheet for 1 minute and remove to a rack to cool completely

5 Easy & Creative Uses for Granola

1. Add 1 cup of any flavor Granola to a simple sugar cookie recipe. The Granola makes the cookie very crunchy and yummy!

2. Brush chicken parts with mayonnaise or plain yogurt. Top with Just Grains Granola and ½ teaspoon of paprika and ¼ teaspoon of salt. Best chicken you will ever eat!

3. Add 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour and 2 tablespoons of melted butter to Apple Crisp Granola and use as a topping for baked apples or any type of fruit crisp.

4. Mix your favorite fruit to 1 cup of yogurt, and ½ cup Granola. Add ¼ Juice or milk and blend until smooth.
